Addressing barriers to accessing policy and technical knowledge

Nepal's climate landscape is shaped by numerous policies, reports, and case studies produced by government bodies, UN agencies, development banks, research institutions, and nonprofits. However, navigating this vast body of documentation is time-consuming and overwhelming. Identifying relevant sources, reviewing lengthy documents, and synthesizing information across multiple reports often diverts researchers, advocates, and policymakers from higher-value analytical work.

Nepal Climate Hub's AI Climate Assistant addresses this challenge by providing rapid, topic-specific insights drawn from verified policy documents and reports. The system identifies relevant sources and cites exact documents and page references, enabling users to quickly locate authoritative information while ensuring transparency and accuracy. By reducing the time spent on manual searching and document review, the assistant supports researchers, policy advocates, and newcomers in conducting informed analysis, identifying gaps, and developing evidence-based recommendations.
