Nirmal Pandey is a Data Engineer with the City of Ottawa and an AI & Machine Learning graduate from Lambton College, Canada. He has experience in software engineering, data engineering, and AI-driven solutions. Passionate about technology for social impact, he contributes technical expertise to climate resilience, sustainable development, and data-informed decision-making initiatives.

Mukesh is a software engineer passionate about building software that solves real-world problems and improves lives. He enjoys learning new technologies and sharing his knowledge on software development, productivity, and life. Mukesh is also very keen on open source and is a member of the Nepal Open Source Klub.

Jyoti Sapkota is an emerging UI/UX Designer from Nepal with a background in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Passionate about knowledge sharing, she has actively contributed to mentoring and community initiatives, including Women Leaders in Technology (WLiT), and has engaged in various speaking sessions on design awareness and personal development.

Neha Shrestha is a UI/UX Designer with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. She started her career as a Frontend Developer before moving into design, driven by her passion for creating intuitive and engaging digital experiences. Combining creativity and technical skills, she enjoys designing meaningful solutions, continuous learning, and solving problems through design.


Prashamsa is an Environmental Engineer, with expertise in clean energy, climate change, and environmental modeling. She is passionate about carbon credits, GIS-based analysis, and clean energy. As a Climate Communicator at NCH, she listens to the people most affected by climate change, and makes sure their stories are heard by those who can make a difference.

Aashi Sethi is a Climate Studies MSc candidate at Wageningen University working at the intersection of climate science and society. Her recent projects include nature-based solutions for estuary restoration, cropland exposure to climate risks, and financing anticipatory action. She translates experiences into actionable insights by connecting people and ecosystems for a more sustainable future.

Aayushka is a Climate Content Associate at Nepal Climate Hub, working on creating engaging and informative content for social media and the website. She is passionate about environmental protection and climate justice, and she focuses on simplifying climate issues through storytelling. Her goal is to raise awareness and inspire communities in Nepal to take meaningful climate action.

Aadya is currently pursuing an MSc in Geography of Environmental Risks and Human Security, with experience in climate policy research and disaster risk reduction. Her work is fairly multidisciplinary, spanning gender inclusion, environmental justice, and climate governance. She is passionate about bridging the gap between complex climate frameworks and the communities most affected by them.

Hridayana is an environmental science student at the University of Birmingham and is passionate about modern contaminants and climate risk and resilience. She enjoys the interdisciplinary nature of environmental science and believes combining natural science and arts can effectively address the climate crisis.

Anjali is a Forestry graduate passionate about climate science and forest carbon assessment. At Nepal Climate Hub, she bridges technical expertise in remote sensing and biomass estimation with accessible climate communication. From Uttarakhand's Himalayan forests, she combines field experience with a mission to make carbon science relevant for climate action.

Shreya Piya is a fourth year Environmental Science student at Kathmandu University with interests in community engagement, environmental research, and indigenous knowledge sharing. Through community based projects, she explores the links between culture, climate, and local livelihoods. Darshan Moktan is pursuing Masters in Science of Climate with main focus on atmospheric dynamics, climate impacts in the Himalayan region using climate models and geospatial analysis. Passionate about translating the scientific insights into actionable knowledge.

Menaka is a Climate Writer at Nepal Climate Hub with a background in Environmental Science. She writes clear, grounded stories on climate change, gender, biochar, and community resilience. Inspired by her rural Nepali roots, she believes small changes can create a huge impact when communities work together.

Environmental engineer and researcher with expertise in water resources, wastewater treatment, hydraulic design, and environmental modeling. Focused on understanding climate change impacts on hydrological systems, water quality, and ecosystem resilience through data-driven approaches. Nikita Budhathoki is a product designer with a background in Computer Science and Information Technology. She has been actively involved in community-based initiatives that connect her to social and environmental issues. Alongside her design work, she explores traditional art forms like mandala and thanka to express cultural and personal narratives. Nikita is passionate about using design and creativity to raise awareness and inspire action on climate and sustainability.

Susmita Aryal is a Kathmandu-based published Author and Independent Journalist. A graduate in English Literature and Journalism, she brings years of writing and publishing experience. With a genuine love for art and storytelling, her works extensively center around communications. Curious about international affairs, she is currently pursuing a Master's in International Relations and Diplomacy.

Tarun Thapa is a motion designer and video editor with over two years of experience working with IT companies and creative agencies. With a background in Information and Management, he now freelances, helping brands and creators tell their stories through engaging motion graphics and visually driven videos.

Nischal Raj is a Youth Representative at the World Food Forum, and a Global Youth Ambassador at Theirworld. He also serves as a Plastic Free NextGen Fellow and has been recognized as a South Asian Climate Justice Fellow and Resilient Youth Network Fellow. His work focuses on climate-smart agriculture, food security, and policy advocacy, with passions for sustainability, climate resilience, organic farming, and community empowerment.

Biswas is a civil engineering graduate and climate researcher from Nepal, interested in hydrology, urban flooding, and climate extremes. He enjoys turning complex scientific studies into clear, engaging stories that connect climate science with real-world impacts.

Milan is a UX/UI Designer with over three years of experience, focused on marketing materials and improving web experiences for people and businesses. He has worked across EdTech, FinTech, PropTech, HealthTech, and Productivity, aiming to help people through design. Milan holds an undergraduate degree in BICT and is passionate about anything that keeps him inspired and excited.

Hikmat is a USYC 2025 member and computer science graduate passionate about technology, climate solutions, and data-driven innovation. He began his climate journey in Surkhet, later representing Nepal at the COP29 Simulation in Egypt. In 2024, he was a Climate Change AI Fellow and now serves as VP of Nepal Climate Hub, driving youth engagement and action.

Alisha is a recent forestry graduate, WWF scholar, and 2025 EU Youth Sounding Board member. For the past three years, she has advocated for climate justice through groups like Digo Bikas Institute and NYCA Hetauda. Beyond climate advocacy, she is passionate about wildlife and conservation, and is committed to raising awareness and driving positive change.
Avash Ghimire is a software engineer passionate about all things tech. He turns caffeine into code and ideas into reality, always chasing the next big challenge. His ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams makes him a valuable asset to any team. He also writes blogs occasionally… when he's not busy procrastinating.

Yunika Shakya is a UI/UX Designer at Vrit Technologies, specializing in user experience design and collaborative, user-centered solutions. A 2024 graduate in Computer Science and Information Technology from Prime College, she also mentors aspiring designers at SkillShikshya. Yunika blends technical expertise with a passion for growth, creativity, and innovation in the design field.
